Note that our JJ EL34 kits use the much improved JJ EL34II because it has vastly richer mid tones than the cheaper JJ EL34. The standard JJ EL34 has a reputation for sounding thin and JJ made the EL34 II to address this tone issue.
This VT7 valve kit contains three JJ Electronic ECC83S’s (12AX7) and two EL34 IIs. We use our SUPERMATCH process to match one of the ECC83’s and the EL34’s . We supply a test certificate showing the matching test results. The ECC83 that is matched is recommended to be positioned in the phase splitter position next to the EL34’s. we match your valves on our suite of AVO testers
