This JJ valve kit contains one ECC81 ( 12AT7) two ECC83S’s ( 12AX7) and four EL34′ IIs
Note that our JJ EL34 kits use the much improved JJ EL34II because it has vastly richer mid tones than the cheaper JJ EL34. The standard JJ EL34 has a reputation for sounding thin and JJ made the EL34 II to address this tone issue.
We test every valve we sell and the ECC81 and the EL34’s will be hand matched. We supply a test certificate. showing the matching test results.
The ECC81 is used as the phase splitter
Valves are made by JJ electronic in Slovakia.
