The Sovtek 6550WE KT88 Matched Quad are factory matched and further tested and refined matching by us. Check out our Supermatch technology. They are manufactured by Sovtek in the Russian Federation.
Sovtek 6550WE’s are solidly constructed and have metal bases which will help dissipate the heat generated by these high power valves. This improves their lifespan and reliability in service as compared to resin based bases on other manufacturers 6550’s
We issue a test certificate with each set which shows the matching.
This is one big bottle packing a lot of output power !! Each valve can handle 40 watts in single ended mode applications and the matched quad can provide over 200 watts in push pull mode.

As these are high power valves it is strongly recommended that the bias is checked when inserting in your amp.
The valve life can be severely reduced if the bias is not set correctly.
We also offer a 120 day from purchase warranty on the product ( excludes user caused mechanical damage failure and incorrectly set bias ).
Note: Valves use high voltages and these voltages are dangerous. The amp can still retain these high voltages for some time even after being switched off. If you are not sure of fitting them , please seek the services of qualified personnel
